Support non-market and co-op housing everywhere

Support non-market and co-op housing everywhere

In Vancouver, it’s harder to build social housing than million dollar homes.

OneCity Councillor Christine Boyle wants to change that. Her motion will make it easier for non-profit and co-op housing providers to build the kind of housing that more of us can actually afford, in more neighbourhoods of the city.

Delegating final approval for qualifying non-market housing to staff would save community housing providers time and money, so they can deepen affordability and provide more homes for people who need them.
